not your average public loo

“BAA, then, can rightly be proud of its far from bog standard loos, or ‘new concept in passenger airport experiences’, as the publicity puts it.  Ease of installation, cleaning and the avoidance of silicon sealant are understandable priorities for the airport operator which processes millions of passengers every week. Off-site construction was another objective which reduces installation time and modularity, so that the design works
in differently shaped locations

Design week | June 2008

We designed a bespoke basin for the washroom that features an integral 90mm splash back (see Armitage Shanks). The scheme has large-scale wall graphics that can be changed to suit the different airports, or different locations within them.

and we do large scale mock-ups

Give us a month, a hammer and some nails, we’ll supply the enthusiasm and build you not one, not two, but three full-size (partly) working washrooms (or whatever you want) for evaluation in a warehouse of your choosing.  You will think you are in the airport.
