Airline seating and interior design

come fly with us…

The aerospace industry requires specific experience. We work for global airlines, aircraft and component manufacturers on specific elements such as seats, galleys, bathrooms, and also complete cabin interiors and passenger service. As well as specific hardware, we undertake behaviour studies to support innovation, such as passenger check-in and on-board food delivery. From booking a flight to arrival at the destination, air travel is a complete experience. Our expertise covers the design of all aspects of the passenger’s experience.

For more information have a look at the work we have done for BAAcro, Thompson Solutions, Jet2.com and BAA.

Joined up thinking for aircraft innovation

We have formed a collaboration with Marshall Aerospace whereby we will combine our research, concept and design refinement skills to their detailed engineering and certification experience meeting certification EASA Part 21J.

This approach will benefit customers as programmes can be carried out faster and without the constraints of typical time frames, and an integrated team (made up of Factorydesign and Marshall Aerospace) will ensure seamless continuity from design concept to solution and STC.

The combination of our ability to challenge convention and innovate with Marshall’s comprehensive engineering capabilities, will provide customers with a new approach to meet the constant need to improve their products and cabin interiors.

Marshall Aerospace operates from its own 800 acre site, complete with airport, in Cambridge, England, and with over 80 years’ experience in aerospace engineering, is one of Europe’s leading privately-owned aerospace companies with all the capabilities of an aircraft manufacturer.
