There were some beautiful new materials on show at Surface Design this year. There also seemed to be a larger student area which always has some great inspiration.
We saw the use of layering popping up in several different forms across the show, which particularly caught our eye. From cut outs with material peeking through, to overlapping fabrics for acoustic panels, to combinations of material fused together to create solid blocks, all had strong depth and texture.
