The British Airways Concorde

Seating, lavatory and cabin interior design for the last flown fleet of British Airways Concorde.

2004

British Airways

British Airways World Traveller Plus. Their first premium economy seat and only the third version of this class to fly.

2008

Acro Aircraft seating

The Acro Superlight seat, flown by Jet2.com, the first bespoke seat designed specifically for low cost carriers, the lightest in its class; the birth of a new seat category.

2010

Air Lair concept

A radical future-gazing concept featured at AIX, exploring opportunities with two-tier seating.

2013

JetBlue Mint 2013

The world’s first narrow body lie-flat business class seat with a door.

2014

Etihad Airways A380

Described as the most highly customised version of an A380 ever created.

2017

Delta Airlines

The award winning Delta One suite, a highly customised Thompson Aero XL seat creating the world’s first all door business class cabin.

2018

China Eastern

First Class for Free. An innovation developed with Thompson Aero seating, to create an integrated business class plus suite across the front row of the cabin, embraced by China Eastern and Malaysia Airlines.

2020

Thompson Vantage Solo

The first bespoke lie-flat, direct aisle business class seat for single aisle aircraft, provoked by the anticipation of long-haul narrow body aircraft, and embraced by Thompson Aero defining a new seat class.

2022

Virgin Atlantic Airline

The Retreat Suite, Upper Class cabin and The Loft social space for Virgin Atlantic’s A330neo, designed in close collaboration with their in-house team.

2023

JetZero

Working with the talented team at JetZero to design and define radical cabin interior concepts for their ground-breaking, highly sustainable blended wing aircraft.

2025

A321 XLR

Design for the very first A321XLR featured Thompson Aero’s Solo business class for Iberia, followed shortly by Aer Lingus with an upgraded Vantage business class cabin.
