The Isolate screen divider kit
The pandemic provoked behavioural changes with passengers when sharing communal spaces.
Provoked by this trend, the Isolate kit transforms the middle seat into a reassuring screen to provide maximum personal space and separation for adjacent passengers. The lightweight table-top supports a vertical screen in translucent thermoplastic to allow light to pass through and maintain a bright cabin. The whole feature is supported by the armrests and securely belted into position.
All surfaces are designed to remove any dirt traps and be easy clean. There is provision for an amenity kit and hygiene products to enhance the flight experience. The kit disassembles easily for stowage and can be fitted to allow couples to be screened from the aisle. It can also be retrofitted to any existing economy seat, on either single-aisle or wide-body aircraft.
Isolate can provide reassurance for anxious passengers in a post-pandemic world. Whilst this now seems a long while ago, sensitivity to hygiene remains higher than in pre-pandemic days and we believe thoughtful design can always help to re-assure the traveller.
